Hunter is a Terminid Enemy in Helldivers 2.

Hunter start spawning at medium difficulty and higher. Usually, they don't pose a serious threat, but they are one of the deadliest normal enemies. Several of them can get close to and surround helldiver and that can easily end up in casualty because of their high attack speed and damage. Although Hunter have low health and can be easily killed with any weapon.

Hunter Abilities and Mechanics

Hunter have leap ability, that allows them to get close to the helldivers really fast and even get to the higher ground, which is impossible for most of the enemies.

They also like to flank their targets and do the side jump to avoid attacks.

On difficulty 4 (Challenging) and higher Hunter gets slowing ability on their tongue attack, which makes them more dangerous.

Hunter Leap

Hunter jumps toward a helldiver, covering a great distance and attacking the target.

How to Counter Hunter Leap

• The easiest option to counter Hunter leap is to take them out before they get too close.
• If Hunter got in melee range sprint away from them, but don't jump, they will get to the prone helldiver before they can stand up and do some damage.

Hunter Fighting Tips

Hunter can be an annoying enemy to fight because of their aggressiveness, high damage and speed.

• Hunter do not have any armor and all weapons do decent damage to them.
• Prioritizing Hunter when they get close is a good strategy.
• Help out fellow helldivers that are being sneaked upon by Hunter
