Its essential to know your Enemies in Helldivers 2. Knowing their behavior will allow Helldivers to avoid death or damage completely. Terminid[edit | edit source]
Terminids are arachnid fast-evolving species in Helldivers 2. They come in numbers, mostly use close-medium range attacks and spawn from the underground. Bug Holes are numerous and most of the time located in craters. They are also referred to as Bugs, Nids, Bug Brains and Future Element-710.

Automaton[edit | edit source]
Automatons are robotic lifeform of unknown origin that's only purpose is murder and violence. They are not as numerous as Terminid swarm, but have multiple long-range weaponry and can be very deadly if underestimated. Reinforcements are carried by a Dropship and their spawn factories are located in fortified encampments protected with manned turrets.
